Kenya Kangunu AA Coffee
A fantastic coffee with juicy fruit notes that include blackcurrant, caramel and stewed apples.
Kenya is known for its fertile, volcanic soil, a unique and distinctive varietal and excellent harvesting and processing methods.
Coffee cherry is delivered for processing and pulped using machines that will separate the coffee into more than one grade using water to determine density. The more dense coffee will sink and this is separated to be processed and sold as high grade speciality coffee.
The coffee is soaked in clean water for 6 hrs before being transferred to raised tables for drying in the sun. Once the drying process is finished the coffee is transferred to a storage area and allowed to rest for a few weeks before being moved to a dry mill for processing. Kenyan dry mills split coffees into bean sizes using large sorting machine. The AA is one of the largest bean sizes.
Not bad at all but I prefer the Rwandan lot. Any plans for Bumbogo?
My favourite single origin coffee roasted properly. These are actually AA beans for an affordable price.
Such great coffee and amazing service. The team rallied to get the coffee to me before I went away on honeymoon. It meant we had delicious coffee every day. Highly highly recommended!
I ordered the Kenyan AA coffee beans. This is a deliciously smooth coffee, full of fruity flavours. The customer service is great, friendly and efficient. Will order again.
